The Trails In Motion Big Day Out Trail Festival is Boulder's first trail-inspired community event where you get to hang out with like-minded trail runners, check out and demo some of the latest trail running gear, enjoy some local food and beer and watch a wide selection of the world's finest trail running films, all in one day.

Kids Runs: Bring the family along to take part in one of our kids social runs, a fun way to introduce the youngsters to the exhilaration of running on the dirt.

Shoe Demos: Check out, and more importantly try out some of the latest shoes from some of the industry's leading shoe brands

FKT Course: Demo the shoes on a real varied terrain and see how you stack up on the Xterra Colorado 1k course

Pop-up Expo: Visit the stands of some of Boulder's local trail running and outdoor industry representatives and learn more about what's on offer locally

Beer and Food: Enjoy some local tipple and some tasty meals while hanging out with the community and sharing your "dirty stories"

Guest Speakers: Gain insight into industry trends, nutrition, beginner trail runner tips and more with our guest speaker series

Film Festival: Be inspired by a collection of great trail and ultra running films during multiple sessions throughout the day
